The Cast of ‘Bridget’s Jones Baby’ Covers Entertainment Weekly

I don’t know about you, but I remember the first time that I watched Bridget Jones and I remember the last time. That’s probably because it was just last week over popcorn and tears.

Look – it is what it is, but I love me some Rom-Com’s. So imagine my excitement when I found out there was going to be a new Bridget Jones movie. It was a little bit like this.

The cast of Bridget Jones covers Entertainment Weekly.

[lead]Renee on the media’s coverage of her appearance last year:[/lead] “All that I know about is what friends and associates would send in texts and emails. They were sending support, which means that I must have needed it, and I prefer it that way. So when people come up to me to ask ‘How did that feel?’ I don’t know, and I like it like that. I don’t know. I know it sounds pretty unlikely that a person might be able to make herself, I guess, keep clear of those words or of that experience, but I have and it takes effort. But I have succeeded.”

[lead]Renee on playing Bridget Jones again: [/lead]“This is part of the new challenge, discovering where she is now in her new life. But as an actress, it feels like stepping back with an old friend. I love this character, I like that she tells stories about what it’s like to be a woman and these really relatable situations at certain times in life. It’s so right to tell a story about Bridget in this stage of her life.”

The issue hits news stands Monday. Are you excited for Bridget Jones Baby?

I work a lot. Fangirlish is my baby. I work in social media professionally and I love it - which is probably why I don't keep up on my own. I don't sleep enough and I obsess too much over my favorite things. I need to work on combing my hair more. Or at elast I need to stop dying it different colors.
