Players of the Week – NFL Week 6

NFL WEEK 6 CARSON WENTZ

The wacky ways of the 2017-2018 season continue in this NFL Week 6, with teams that had been dominating losing in head-scratching fashion, players seemingly unable to keep any momentum and fantasy teams floundering left and right.

But hey, at least that means diversity in our picks, right?

Here are our NFL Players of the Week for Week 6:

AFC

Offensive Player: Tom Brady QB, New England Patriots

The Pats won that game against the Jets for many reasons, the most important being that they have Tom Brady. Well, that and a very questionable call at the end there, but Tom Brady doesn’t hurt.

Defensive Player: The Steelers Defense

I’m not saying stopping Kansas City is that hard, but the Chiefs had looked good and the Steelers made sure the breaks didn’t go their way. That’s something.

NFC

Offensive Player: Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Look, it’s really not so clear cut, and the Eagles might possibly be the beast team in football right now. It pains me to say it too, trust me.

Defensive Player: New York Giants Defense

It’s not like they stopped an offensive powerhouse, but the defense kept this team from going 0-6 and they deserve all the credit.
