ABC has unveiled its new Fall 2018 slate, which is a laughing stock of epic comedy proportions.
The network continues to front load its schedule with comedies, as it currently has 6 of the top 10 comedies on television on its slate. Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8-10 pm are comedy blocks featuring the returns of black-ish, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, and Roseanne. It also features two ne comedies: The Kids Are All Right on Tuesday at 8:30 pm and Single Parents on Wednesday at 9:30 pm. Friday will also offer an hour comedy block with Fresh Off the Boat and Speechless.
Thursdays will continue to be TGIT television kicking off with Grey’s Anatomy at 8 pm, followed by its spinoff Station 19 at 9 pm and concluding with How to Get Away With Murder at 10 pm. (That will be replaced with For the People at midseason.)
While ABC’s new fall slate offers little, other than A Million Little Things that is giving us all the This Is Us vibes and we’re likely to eat it all up, it’s the midseason that we’re looking forward to. That’s when Whiskey Cavalier, starring Scott Foley and Lauren Cohen, hits our screens. And that’s proving to be the best bet for ABC this new season. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is also being held for summer, which makes us wonder if that has anything to do with Infinity War.
Check out ABC’s Fall 2018 schedule, shows slated for midseason, and previously-announced cancellations.
