Well, American Gods just keeps getting more and more exciting. If that’s even possible. Was that possible? I mean, we were already pretty hyped in the first place. But hey, apparently it is. Thank you Kristin Chenoweth.
Or thank you Bryan Fuller, because it’s courtesy of executive producer Bryan Fuller’s Twitter account, that we have the first photo of Kristin Chenoweth as the goddess Easter.
Take a look at the stunning picture here:

The show, which will follow the 2001 Neil Gaiman novel, and focus on a brewing war between the old and new gods. It stars The 100‘s Ricky Whittle as Shadow, an ex-convict who becomes the bodyguard of Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane), an old god who seeks to build an army to take down the new regime.
Chenoweth’s casting was announced during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Her character is described as a peace-and-love free spirit who assists Shadow Moon when he’s at a particularly low point.
The star-studded cast also includes Gillian Anderson, Orlando Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Corbin Bernsen and Cloris Leachman.
American Gods is set to premiere in early 2017, on Starz.
