When we last left Arrow, Oliver Queen defeated Ra’s al Ghul and rode off into the sunset with Felicity leaving Starling City and the Arrow persona behind. It was a shocker in that it looks like Oliver Queen got a happy ending. But happy endings don’t last for long, especially on Arrow.
So what happens next?
A new synopsis for Arrow’s fourth season has surfaced on Comic-Con’s website in a description for the mega Superhero Saturday Night panel on Saturday, July 11.
After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen (a.k.a. The Arrow) left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver’s crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, is anyone really safe?
We’ll be talking to the stars of Arrow at Comic-Con, where we can hopefully get some more teases about what’s going to happen in season 4.
Arrow returns for its fourth season on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8/7c on The CW.
