Arrow is just winding own its fourth season with its final four episodes, but teases from next season are already trickling out.

The show has already begun the casting process for a season five character that appears to be a significant player next season, as well as an adversary of Oliver’s.

According to TVLine, Arrow is adding a series regular character going by the alias “James,” who is an “irrepressibly charming contemporary of Oliver’s,” as well as “a man on a mission — as he is to avenge a tragic, violent loss from his on, years-ago past.”

TVLine notes the casting call is looking for an actor in his late-20s to 30s of any ethnicity who is somewhat physically imposing.

“James” is said to be a character who can “just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he’s more than capable of having a good time as he does it.”

Could this new face possibly be connected to Oliver’s Bratva past, which appears to be the focus of the final year of Oliver’s “island” flashbacks?

We’ll have to wait and see, but regardless it sounds like we’re in for quite a charming treat next season.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
