This year’s DCTV crossover event is going to look a little different.
Not only are we getting a true four-show crossover event (with Supergirl leading off this year), but instead of getting this crossover event over the course of three nights, as we assumed, it’ll only be two nights.
Supergirl and Arrow will kickoff the crossover event on Monday, Nov. 27 (at 8pm and 9pm, respectively). The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow will close the show on Tuesday, Nov. 28 (at 8pm and 9pm, respectively).
“We felt that it would be better and tighter in storytelling,” CW president Mark Pedowtiz told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “This was the best way to go.”
This two-night event will bring together the first four-show crossover event. Last season, while Supergirl made an appearance on the other shows, Supergirl didn’t play a part in the crossover event — unless you count the final two minutes leading into The Flash.
When Pedowitz was asked about what could possibly top aliens from last year’s event, he gave an answer that is sure to make fans of two popular DCTV “ships” quite happy.
“Romance is in the air,” he said.
With Barry and Iris engaged and Oliver and Felicity finding each other again, could we perhaps have not one but two weddings?! Now that would be an epic crossover event.
