Lawyer. Dreamer. Geek. Eternal optimist. Fangirl since the dawn of…
The news out of D23 yesterday is almost too much to process. What’s coming? When? How to keep track? But, no worries, we’re here to keep track for you.
Starting with …Marvel. So let’s talk the shows we already new were coming, the newly announced, and the information we have about each.
What we already knew:
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – Fall 2020
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will reprise their roles as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Loki – Spring 2021
Tom Hiddleston is set to return as the God of Mischief.
WandaVision – Spring 2021
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are set to reprise their roles as Vision and Scarlet Witch.
What if…? – Summer 2021
The animated series will feature 23 episodes, or one “what if” for each MCU movie released.
Hawkeye – Fall 2021
Jeremy Renner is set to reprise his role of Hawkeye, as he trains Kate Bishop to take over the mantle.
What we just learned:
Jennifer Walters, or She-Hulk, is the cousin of Bruce Banner, whose powers were transferred to her when, after almost dying, she received a transfusion from Bruce’s blood.
Kamala Khan, a protege of Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) is Marvel’s first Muslim character to headline her own comic book series – and now, her own show.
Marc Spector is a former mercenary and once CIA agent with multiple personalities who is also, oh yes, imbued with powers from an Egyptian God.
The shows are expected to cross over with the movies, and there’s already confirmation that the Loki series will lead into Thor: Love and Thunder, and WandaVision will lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Disney+ will be available starting November 12.
What's Your Reaction?
Lawyer. Dreamer. Geek. Eternal optimist. Fangirl since the dawn of time. Hates the color yellow, olives and cigarettes. Has a recurring nightmare where she’s forced to choose between sports and books. Falls in love with fictional characters.
