Lately, we’ve been all about period pieces. When we were invited to the premiere of Will, the new show coming to TNT tomorrow, we were excited.
Totally admit that the show peaked our interest, because – well, Jamie Campbell Bower. But when we watched the pilot – we were in awe of everyone. And we’re crushing hard over Mattias Inwood.
This show is just so good and he’s just that hot.
If you aren’t familiar with or haven’t heard of Will, it’s a “A drama about the lost years of young William Shakespeare after his arrival to London in 1589 — when theatre was like rock and roll and a young man with a dream changed the world with his words.”
We were thrilled to interview Mattias Inwood, who will be playing Richard Burbage. Who is Richard?
Impossibly good-looking, incredibly charming and James Burbage’s son, Richard is one of life’s fortunate few. Although innately talented, he is a little too much in love with himself and prone to overact. Through personal tragedy and Will’s influence, Richard eventually realizes that there is more to being an actor than the crowd’s adoration, and he and Will go on to form the greatest actor-writer partnership the world has ever seen.
“The first document of Richard was a police report outside the theater. So there is not a hell of a lot known about him, who he was,” Mattias said about playing Richard.

“You can’t really ask for a better job. Everyone got on so well.” It shows. It definitely shows.
Will premieres on TNT, July 10th.
