#OnceUponATime – I’m thankful for: Snow White
Snow White was never my favorite Disney Princess. In fact, if I had to do a top ten, she probably wouldn’t have appeared on it. Frankly, childhood me thought Snow White was a bit boring. And silly. Why would you eat that apple? Hasn’t your mother taught you not to take food from strangers? Especially dark hooded creepy strangers!
But, no. Snow White didn’t have a mother to teach her those things. I didn’t think about that then. I just knew I didn’t like her.

#OnceUponATime Review: “Broken Heart”
It’s somewhat poetic when the episode title promises to break your heart, and then…it breaks your heart. Or maybe poetic is not the word I’m looking for. Maybe it’s gut-wrenching. #OnceUponATime – I’m thankful for: Emma Swan
It’s Thanksgiving week, the official start of the holiday season. (At least that’s what the commercialS say!). What does that mean? Well, it means peppermint mocha, Christmas Carols and general good cheer, but it also means that it’s time to take a step back, relax, hold your family close and reflect on all the good stuff in our lives, all the things we’re thankful for. And since here, as the name suggests, we’re all about the fangirling, we’re taking this opportunity to reflect on ...
#CaptainSwan and Emma’s agency
Emma Swan and Killian Jones are only a couple because he wore her down.
I’ve heard this argument countless of times, but I’ve never paid much attention to the supposed logic behind it. And the reason why I haven’t is this: I find the notion to be stupid, simplistic and frankly, disrespectful. I didn’t want to talk about this subject, didn’t think I needed to go on and on about women’s agency in this day and age. But I was wrong.
The argument keeps being repeated, and not by a ...
