The Last Jedi is coming …and we couldn’t be more excited.
I’m not even kidding here. I’m pretty sure there’s literally no way I could be more excited. I feel a bit queasy. That’s normal, right?
SWCO provided us with plenty of moments to cry (if you want to keep a dry eye, I’d suggest not watching the Carrie Fisher Tribute. I cried 5 times) and also, plenty to look forward to. And the most important of those – the one that’s coming next – is The Last Jedi.
Can you believe it? This year. The movie is coming this year. And we have an official poster and the first trailer to savor!
First is the poster, which seems to depict a battle between good and evil, with Rey in the middle.
And then there’s the trailer. The trailer. The one that shows Rey being trained, and teases the possible end of the Jedi Order.
But, don’t believe me. Watch it here. And then flail with me.
Episode VIII was written and directed by Rian Johnson, produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.
What do you think? Love it? Hate it? Are you shaking in anticipation? Did that glimpse of Carrie Fisher in that trailer make you tear up? Share with us in the comments below
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled for release on December 15th, 2017.
