‘The Flash’ 2×20 Photos: Henry Allen Returns in ‘Rupture’

After Zoom’s stunning defeat of Barry two episodes prior, it appears as if the team might’ve found a way to stop Zoom once and for all in this Tuesday’s episode of The Flash, titled “Rupture.”

The CW has released promotional photos for episode 20 of The Flash season 2, “Rupture,” that features a dangerous plan proposed by Barry and Wells that has Barry turning to his two fathers for advice.

In the first look photos, we get a look at Caitlin’s return to our Earth, the debut of Rupture (Cisco’s brother’s doppleganger from Earth-2), and what appears to be Iris finally preparing to open up to Barry about certain feelings she’s been having.

Also in the photos we get a look at a pair of concerned fathers as Barry volunteers to go along with Wells’ plan to recreate the Particle Accelerator explosion — with Barry getting struck by lightning again.

Here’s the synopsis:

DC COMICS’ CHARACTER RUPTURE COMES TO CENTRAL CITY WITH ZOOM – Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Barry (Grant Gustin) and Wells (Tom Cavanagh) come up with a plan to stop Zoom once and for all but it’s extremely dangerous. Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipps) is adamantly opposed to Barry risking his life again but Joe (Jesse L. Martin) thinks he can handle it which puts the two men at odds with each other. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is shocked when he vibes the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who happens to be his brother Dante’s (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez) doppelganger. Rupture came to this Earth seeking justice for Reverb’s death. Iris (Candice Patton) decides she’s finally ready to open up to Barry about her feelings for him.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
