When we last left The Flash, Barry Allen had sacrificed himself to the Speed Force leaving behind the people he loves. But Barry’s disappearance isn’t the only hardship still on their minds, as they had to deal with the loss of H.R..
We spoke with The Flash star Tom Cavanagh at San Diego Comic-Con last month, where he talked about the evolution of the many versions of Harrison Wells we’ve seen over the years, as well as teased what we can expect to see in the new season.
Every season, we’ve seen Cavanagh tackle a new version of Harrison Wells that exists in the multiverse. So it’d be safe to assume that we’ll be meeting a new version of Wells, right? Yes. But that doesn’t mean past versions of Harrison Wells are off the table. But the one constant on The Flash? There will always be multiple versions of Harrison Wells.
“This year, we’ve got a different villain,” Cavanagh said. “So I think there’s going to be areas where we can use a different Wells. We’re going to start with Harry and then find a way I think to try and get a different version of Wells.”
