This Tuesday’s The Flash and Supergirl crossover isn’t your typical crossover.
It’s a musical crossover event that’s set to feature our favorite heroes and friends belting out show tunes in what looks to be an eventful hour of pure entertainment. Sure, it probably doesn’t progress The Flash‘s Savitar arc, but it’s a nice reprieve as we wind down the season. (Plus, it looks like fun and I’m curious to see how it turns out.)
In this new sneak peek, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) belt out a friendship song aptly titled, “Super Friends.” It’s adorkable and cheesy and worthy of the puppies these two characters are (we love it!)
Perhaps the best part of this exchange comes when Kara is singing a line about if Barry can’t save her in time he can go back in time to “give it another shot,” to which Barry swiftly replies:
“I’m actually not supposed to do that anymore,” which no doubt is an ode to Barry going back in time to change the past and he winds up changing the present.
I’m sorry, I won’t be over that line for days. Weeks perhaps. Nicely done, Flash writers. I approve of the shade. (Forever laughing)
Watch the sneak peek below of Barry and Kara singing “Super Friends” and prepare for the epic crossover event this Tuesday!
