Agents of SHIELD have confirmed at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) panel on Friday that Ghost Rider will be appearing in the fourth season of the show.
This won’t be the motorcycle riding Johnny Blaze from the Nicholas Cage films however as Gabriel Luna from Matador and Wicked City was cast as Robbie Reyes who drives around in a 1969 Dodge Charger which contains hellfire.

There was initial speculation that Ghost Rider might make his appearance in Agents of SHIELD after there was a casting call for Latino brothers – one being really dangerous and the other paralyzed in a wheelchair, which fits the descriptions of Robbie and Gabe Reyes from the 2014 version of Ghost Rider.
“Season 4 will unquestionably be the series’ biggest, most ambitious story yet, and it all begins with the introduction of one of our greatest legacy characters in Ghost Rider…When the Spirit of Vengeance rides into S.H.I.E.L.D., it’ll change everything,” Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb said to Marvel.com
