I would have never thought that I would love a show as much as I love Good Trouble. Why? Because The Fosters annoyed me and I felt like everyone was whining all the time and everything was so dramatic.
But the thing is – life is dramatic. Life is especially dramatic when we are young. But watching Good Trouble – the spin-off from The Fosters, we get to see a different side of Mariana and Callie. The side where they are growing up and that they are relatable and where I feel like there is so much growth.
We may not review the show, but it’s a show that we watch for fun.
We’re excited that it was renewed for a second season.
If you aren’t familiar with Good Trouble it tells the story of Callie and Mariana and their movie to Los Angeles. They are now in a communal living space with a diverse group of tenants. Callie is clerking for a federal judge, Mariana works at a male-dominated tech company. Both are fighting the good fight to be heard.
Good Trouble stars Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez. Also starring in the spin-off is Tommy Martinez (Riverdale), Zuri Adele (Under the Dome), Sherry Cola (I Love Dick) and Roger Bart (Revenge, Desperate Housewives).
