Harry Potter: Hermione Met Hermione. And It Was Beautiful

There is only one thing in this world that could possibly be better than Hermione Granger, and Emma Watson has made it happen. The young British actress – who played the incredibly intelligent and sassy Hermione on the Harry Potter movie franchise – paid a visit to the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast after watching the play earlier this week, and the results could not have been better if they tried. She met Noma Dumezweni, who plays the older version of Hermione and… well, the photos speak for themselves.

It was a reunion of Hermiones – a clash of generations and it was just so beautiful and heartwarming. Watson posted her thoughts on her Facebook page and said that she went in with no idea of what to expect, but that it had been amazing.

Some things about the play were, I think, possibly even more beautiful than the films. Having seen it I felt more connected to Hermione and the stories than I have since Deathly Hallows came out, which was such a gift. Meeting Noma and seeing her on stage was like meeting my older self and have her tell me everything was going to be alright, which as you can imagine was immensely comforting (and emotional)!

Check out the photos she posted in the gallery below.

The book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is set to be released on July 31.
