Harry Styles Joins PreGrammy Fleetwood Mac Tribute

We all know Harry Styles is a lover of all things retro. Clothes, music, style; Harry is a man born in the wrong era, but we love everything he brings from that time into our current generation. But with his love of those times and music, it was only fitting that he took part in the recent Fleetwood Mac tribute at MusiCares in the Pre-Grammy warmup.

Accepting the MusiCares ‘Persons of the Year’ award, it was a star studded event to honor the hit makers. Imagine Dragons, Haim, Lorde joined Styles in their tribute, taking their hands to some of the bands most famous tunes.

Even former US President Bill Clinton stepped up to pay his respects, as the band was at the helm of his campaign song during his Presidency run in 1992.

In a round of thank you’s, Christine McVie gave us a hint of the backstage as she quoted Harry Styles when he had asked her if she was nervous before the show. She pointed out that she was always nervous, but that ‘those butterflies’ were what made magic on the stage.

For his contribute, Styles performed a harmonized ‘The Chain’ rendition that has already brought the song back to the mainstream thanks to Styles influence. It was clearly a highlight for Styles who has long credited bands such as Fleetwood Mac for inspiring his music and his career.

Congrats to the band for this incredible honor. See the performances below.
