‘Legacies’ Is Bringing In A ‘Vampire Diaries’ Favorite

Welcome back, Jeremy Gilbert.

We know, we know – it’s been awhile since the series finale of The Vampire Diaries, but the cast will always be family to us. We won’t ever let go.

As we near fall television, we are getting a new world from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals with Legacies. One of our favorites, Steve McQueen, is making an appearance in the third episode of The CW’s Legacies. That’s right – Jeremy Gilbert will return.




We knew from the series finale of The Vampire Diaries, that Jeremy Gilbert was helping out at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. But we didn’t know if we’d see him again. Turns out we will.

And we couldn’t be more excited.

Legacies tells the story of the next generation of supernatural beings at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. It stars Danielle Rose Russell, as Hope Mikaelson, where 17-year-old “tribrid” who is still recovering and dealing with the deaths of her parents in the final season of The Originals. The cast also includes Aria Shahghasemi as Landon, Kalylee Bryant and Jenny Boyd as Josie and Lizzie Saltzman, Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael, and Quincy Fouse as M.G. – who are all in the town of Mystic Falls.

Legacies premieres October 25th.
