Now, I love a good movie. Especially one that hits you in the feels and there is nothing that seems to do that like a good dog movie.
Now me, I am not an animal person – but I blame one of my friends for making me watch Homeward Bound and my addiction to Hallmark movies that has me shedding tears over A Dog’s Journey. Sure, I didn’t watch A Dog’s Purpose and I most likely won’t be going to watch A Dog’s Journey. However, I will be crying over the trailer.
Cause you know – hormones make me emotional and I am watching sadness.

As usual, we’re reading too much into things, because that’s life and trying to act like trailers are some TGIF television lessons shit.
But hey… life lessons.
A DOG IS TRULY MANS BEST FRIEND
I think that sometimes we all take for granted the animals in our lives. But if you don’t – if you really look at them, they love you as much as you love them. They hang onto you. They feel your pain. They love you unconditionally. An animal wants to love you as much as you want to love them. Don’t take for granted that you have someone, because when you have an animal, you will always have someone there for you.
FAMILY ALWAYS LOOKS OUT
Family is truly complicated. I get that. Hell mine is a soap opera waiting to be written. But as you journey through life, as you become the person that you are supposed to be, family is there. Family is a part of you. They shape you to who you are. In the littlest moments, in the most complex moments, family is with you even when they aren’t physically there.
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HOME WITH YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO
Your dreams aren’t necessarily everyone else’s. Your dreams may be moving away from home, but that doesn’t mean that home ever leaves you. It’s always a part of you. Don’t ever take it for granted – it’s shaped you.
A Dog’s Journey is in theaters now.
