Marvel Studios Will Skip Comic-Con This Year

Marvel Studios have decided not to stage a major presentation at Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con this year to promote its upcoming films, according to Deadline.

This leaves Hall H open for DC/Warner Brothers to promote their upcoming movies including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad and it’s appears to be likely that DC stars such as Henry Cavill, Ben Afflect and Will Smith will be present.

The reasoning behind Marvel Studio’s lack of presence at SDCC this year has been ascribed to the fact that Marvel Studio’s President, Kevin Feige, does not have anything new to show, what with Ant Man being released July, 15th 2015 and Captain America: Civil War just having begun filming.

Hopefully next year, Marvel will back in gear as we will be introduced to Spider-Man in Civil War, Doctor Strange will be released in November 2016 and perhaps will get clips or some information about Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and the new Spider-Man film, both to be released in 2017.
