‘Marvel’s Most Wanted’ Passed Over by ABC

Some things aren’t just meant to be, and it appears as if this Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff is one of those things.

ABC has passed on Marvel’s Most Wanted, according to EW.com.

Marvel’s Most Wanted was  to focus on Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) on the run from a long list of enemies looking to place a bounty on their heads. Along the way, Bobbi and Lance met a rogue adventurer Dominic Fortune (Delroy Lindo), who agrees to help conceal them as long as they agree to help him with his own agenda.

This is the second time that ABC has passed on this proposed spinoff. Just last season ABC began developing the project but pulled the plug when it announced its slew of shows at Upfronts.

“We’re very proud of all the hard work, from Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski’s writing and producing to the incredible cast, especially the supremely talented Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood, who we adore,” executive producer Jeph Loeb told EW.

Looks like Marvel television fans will have to make due with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC and with the plethora of shows on Netflix.
