Miss Peregrine’s is a movie that we are looking forward to more than anything for the rest of September. Who can pass up Ransom Riggs books or Tim Burton directing? Not us.

But we’re also thrilled to know that we need to go visit Saks Fifth Avenue and see this beautiful display. Because Marc Jacobs has combined the movie with fashion in the iconic Saks window displays. And it looks absolutely stunning.

When Marc Jacobs’ gothic-inspired, feathered, and terrifyingly high-heeled collection made its runway debut in February on the likes of Kendall Jenner and Lady Gaga, it looked very Tim Burton. Seemingly everyone noticed, but particularly Saks Fifth Avenue and 20th Century Fox, which paired up Jacobs and Burton in honor of new film, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, which debuts later this month. They tasked Jacobs with dreaming up a series of window displays for Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York flagship inspired by the film’s plot and characters, using the designer’s own fall ’16 collection and incorporating actual props from the set.

Beautiful, right? We’re blown away. Can’t wait to go visit it this weekend.

Miss Peregrines
hit theaters September 30th.

Head Bitch In Charge

I work a lot. Fangirlish is my baby. I work in social media professionally and I love it – which is probably why I don’t keep up on my own. I don’t sleep enough and I obsess too much over my favorite things. I need to work on combing my hair more. Or at elast I need to stop dying it different colors.
