More Key Art from #TheXFiles Revival

The X-Files is going abstract for the final three teaser art images, and despite the fact that there’s no Mulder or Scully to be seen in these new posters, there’s enough of a a nod to the past to up the excitement to absurd levels.

Because this is it, our favorite show is coming back. It’s not a drill, not a movie that might tie in to the mythology and might mean nothing, it’s not a one-shot or a pipe dream. It’s reality. David Duchovny is back as Mulder, Gillian Anderson is back as Scully and we are getting six more episodes of The X-Files in January.

We don’t know what’s coming. We’re not even sure if we’ll get some sort of ending to the mythology that makes sense (can they even manage that in six episodes?). We have no idea what the status of favorite agent’s relationship is. But what we do know is this: We can’t wait to find out.

The X-Files returns to FOX on a Two-Night Season Premiere Event, with the first episode airing Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, 10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT, following the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME; and the second episode airing Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, 8:009:00 PM ET/PT.
