MTV Cancelled ‘Sweet/Vicious’ So I Don’t Trust MTV Anymore

(via MTV)

Welp, with a heavy, broken heart, I have to inform all of you beautiful people that MTV has cancelled highly underrated Sweet/Vicious. Ugh I wish I didn’t have to write that sentence. 🙁

Creator, Jenn Kaytin Robinson took to Twitter to break the news and Eliza Bennett (Jules Thomas) chimed in with her own message to the fans. Other members of the cast also voiced their disappointment/love for the show and it’s fan.  You can read their full statements below:

Honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. I keep just like refreshing Twitter and hoping that it’s a joke. Like LOLJK FAM!!!! But unfortunately, that’s not the case. It’s incredibly heartbreaking that a show with such an empowering message got cancelled.

Now all we can do is hope and pray that this incredibly important and timely show will be picked up by another network.

There’ll be more to discuss about this (and my anger/disappointment @ MTV) but for now, grab your bff and some popcorn, and watch Sweet/Vicious because that’s what I’ll be doing for the rest of the day.

And, just as a reminder: we believe you and we are here for you. We love you so much. Thank you for going on this journey with us. <3 Vagilantes 4 Lyfe.
