NBC Unveils Fall 2018 Schedule

By

NBC kicked off the Upfront season with the reveal of its Fall 2018 schedule on Sunday, which includes some changes in time slots for certain shows.

Get ready for One Chicago Wednesdays as NBC has aligned Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD in a three-hour block back-to-back-to-back. Law & Order: SVU will be moving to Thursdays at 10 pm as a result of the One Chicago night. Also, Midnight Texas is headed for Fridays at 9 pm this fall after spending time at midseason.

The Josh Dallas drama Manifest gets the coveted post-The Voice spot on Monday at 10 pm, while New Amsterdam will get the post-This Is Us spot on Tuesday at 10 pm. The Voice and This Is Us will remain put.

Brooklyn 99, which was revived from the dead by NBC, will be held until midseason in 2019, as previously announced.

Still awaiting their fate is Timeless and Champions, whose fate will be revealed soon after their current seasons wrap. Timeless‘ season 2 finale airs tonight and word from showrunner Eric Kripke is that the network is looking for a ratings boost in the 9 o’clock hour and continued fan engagement on social networks.

All we know is that if NBC decides to not renew Timeless (which would be the stupidest thing they could do), we want nothing to do with them.

Check out NBC’s Fall 2018 schedule, shows slated for midseason, and previously-announced cancellations.
