Netflix to Bring Luke Cage to SDCC

While Netflix has opted to skip San Diego Comic-Con in recent history, the network is bringing one of its upcoming Marvel properties to pop culture’s biggest convention.

Deadline is reporting that Netflix is bringing Jessica Jones spinoff Luke Cage to Comic-Con next month.

Mike Colter, showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker and co-star Alfre Woodward will all appear.

Luke Cage will debut first-look preview footage from the anticipated series bowing in September.

There’s currently no word on whether its parent show Jessica Jones will be appearing, although Krysten Ritter teased that she would. Whether that’s SDCC or NYCC we’re not sure.

Luke Cage will be released on Sept. 30 on Netflix.
