Is it December yet?
We’re not usually ones to advocate for the swift passage of time, but we might have to make an exception for Star Wars. Maybe time-travel is a possibility? We go to December, watch it then come back and get to live the months of anticipation again? No?
Fine, that’s probably not in the cards, so we’re just going to have to make due with the little information we’re being given. And the pictures.
This time, they come in the form of stills from the movie released by EW, who also features both Rey and Luke in dual covers, which you can see here:
See why I just want to jump on a time machine? You see?
In the images we also see an awake Finn (wohoo) learning to fly and presumably going on a mission with new character Rose, Poe actually doing some flying, Kylo Ren looking as cheerful as ever, Rey facing Luke Skywalker, at last, as well as some behind the scenes shots, including one of director Rian Johnson directing the late Carrie Fisher that did not make us tear up, not even a little bit.
