We’ve finally got a peak at season two of Jessica Jones as Netflix has released a first look trailer. From the look of it she’s going to be kicking ass and taking names as usual. It’ll definitely have you jonesing for the next punch of PI awesomeness.
Evidence in the trailer below:
Marvel & Netflix has also released this synopsis for season two of the hit series starring Krysten Ritter:
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
There are so many things to look forward to in the new season. If we’re going back to her past that means tons of Jessica and Trish feels, something I truly enjoyed and hoped for more of from Season 1 and into The Defenders. Between the music in this trailer and the action snippets you know there’s going to be lots of badassery to be had and Jessica’s not going to take any of this laying down or without a fight.
By far, my favourite part of this season is the fact that all the episodes are directed by women. This is HUGE! And something we need to be yelling from every mountain top. This is a strong female character filmed and brought to life through other women’s eyes, vision, and direction. Something that does not happen often enough even though it’s 2017 and not 1917.
I’ll be watching my favourite female hero when she debuts in Season 2 on March 8, 2018 on Netflix, will you?
Season 2 of Jessica Jones premiers on Netflix streaming worldwide March 8, 2018 and don’t forget to catch up on Season 1 streaming now.
