NBC has released the photos for tonight’s episode of The Night Shift titled “Land Of The Free”. As if things couldn’t get any crazier at San Antonio Memorial, the staff this week has to deal with an armed and dangerous patient, most likely a prisoner brought in by a SWAT team for treatment. Somehow he gets a hold of a gun and starts terrorizing everyone inside the hospital, possibly killing a nurse and a police officer, at least that’s what it looks like from the photos in the gallery.

From the trailer for “Land Of The Free” we saw last week, it appears that TC is the one to step up and try to get the gun away from the patient, chasing the prisoner through the air ducts of the hospital. We know The Night Shift creators love drama, and you can’t get much more dramatic than this.

Hopefully we will also get a resolution to the argument that Drew and Rick were having about Drew going to Ranger school without telling Rick that it was happening. I hate seeing our favorite couple fight, so hopefully this is all over soon, except Drew looks extremely worried in one of the photos in the gallery, and I really hope it doesn’t have anything to do with Rick.

Last week, TC was also debating whether or not to rejoin Amira in Syria or to stay and work with Jordan and the rest of his family at SAM, and I think the outcome we all want is for him to choose to stay at San Antonio Memorial where he belongs. It’s just not the same without TC.

Check out the gallery for “Land Of The Free” and get prepared for tonight! It looks like it’s going to be one wild, heart pounding ride.

The Night Shift airs Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC.
