If you’ve seen last night’s Once Upon A Time, then you know Belle’s ending. If you haven’t then stop reading this, go watch, and then read these interviews.
Belle’s ending was bittersweet.
In an interview with TV Guide, Emilie de Ravin had this to say about Belle’s ending:
I think it was important to give them their story and to give them their ending and to give the audience the enjoyment of seeing Rumple and Belle have the fruitful, somewhat peaceful life that they never really had been able to obtain before.

As for Robert, he did an interview with Entertainment Weekly, and here is my favorite part of what he said:
The emotional range this script demanded was exceptional, and to have had the opportunity to work alongside director Mick Garris on this piece was a real pleasure. Through six seasons, I’ve been blessed to have had the chance to work alongside the brilliant Emilie de Ravin, and being reunited with Emilie once more on this beautiful episode was such a joy. The entire RumBelle journey has been one of the most intense in my entire career, and sharing that journey with Emilie has been an absolute delight.
Again, read the whole interview.
So, what did you think of Belle’s (and Rumbelle’s) ending?
