Our Predictions for the 2018 NFL Season

It’s that time of year again! That time that brings out so much joy and anger in us all. That’s right; I’m talking about football season!

The NFL kicks off this Thursday with a game between defending Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons.

We here at Fangirlish decided to start off the season by giving our predictions for all 32 teams final records and this year’s Super Bowl.

Your resident NFL experts — Alyssa, Lizzie, Charles, and Katherine — sat down and each came up with our own season-long predictions, and every week we will predict the scores for each game of the week. Some of our predictions are pretty close, while some are completely different. We’ll look back on these predictions at the end of the season to see how close we all were!

Let’s break it down:

Alyssa: JAX 24, PHI 20 | You could say I’m riding high on the Jaguars, and I really can’t stand the idea of New England being in another Super Bowl, so the Jags it is. As for the NFC, the Eagles, once again, appear to be the favorite. But since I’m riding high on the Jags, I’m going with them to win a close one.

Lizzie: JAX 28, PHI 21 – THIS IS THE GOOD PLACE, and the Jaguars look like they can actually go all the way.

Charles: JAX 20, LAR 10 – As my boy Jason from NBC’s The Good Place would say “BLAKE BORTLES RULES!”

Katherine: NE 34, PHI 30 – I see no way that these two teams don’t meet again in the Big Game this year. I know no one but me wants to see the Pats there again but I just don’t see them being beaten.

There you have them! Let us know who you agree with most and what your predictions are!

The 2018 NFL season kicks off Thursday when the Atlanta Falcons take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
