Okay, so the title may not suggest big news but it’s still exciting, Sense8 fans! While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter at the Narcos season 3 premiere Miguel Ángel Silvestre, everyone’s favorite overly dramatic sensate Lito, divulged some production details and shared his excitement about the Sense8 series finale.
Earlier this month 3 Sense8 cast members and co-creator Lana Wachowski held a Facebook Q&A and shared a “Thank You” video with the fans. They were eager to share their excitement and Silvestre echoed that saying, “It’s something that caught us by surprise. What are the odds?” When it comes to the world that co-creators The Wachowski’s and J. Michael Straczynski have brought to life, Silvestre is just as eager as we are for new details.
“I can’t wait to see her (Lana Wachowski) and ask her a million questions, but I don’t know if she’s going to be willing to answer. She has lots of things in mind,” said Silvestre.
Perhaps the biggest tidbit of information Silvestre shared is that production is set to begin in a month or so. Brian J. Smith, who plays sensate Will, expressed his excitement with this cute emoji-laden tweet in response to The Hollywood Reporter article:

The sudden start of production may seem like it’s coming on fast given the cancellation and then renewal. So it may make sense to have the finale pick up right where season 2 left off considering the cluster is in London? But, as it stands now this is still a series finale so hopefully we’ll still get to revisit all 13 countries and filming locations. Only time will tell.
The Sense8 series finale is expected sometime in 2018. In the meantime you can catch Silvestre in the third season of Narcos premiering on Netflix September 1st.
