Rosemarie DeWitt Joins The Cast Of ‘Little Fires Everywhere’

When Reese Witherspoon talks, we listen. Maybe it’s because her movies have shaped a lot of our lives. Maybe it’s because her book club has introduced us to a lot of books that we have grown to love.

There are a lot of maybes, but the reality is we’re not looking too deep into that part of it. We don’t question why we love things – we just do.

When Hello Sunshine’s Book Club introduced us to Little Fires Everywhere, we picked up the book and ran with it. A moving tale that kept us captivated from the first to the last page, we understood completely why Witherspoon’s company, Hello Sunshine, along with Kerry Washington’s, Simpson Street picked up the optioned the film.

Rosemarie DeWitt is set for a lead role opposite Washington and Witherspoon. DeWitt will be playing Linda McCullough, Elena’s (Witherspoon) best friend. After years of wanting a child of her own, Linda takes in a child that was abandoned at a fire station. She loved the baby on her own, but when the child’s Mom resurfaces, Linda is paranoid and distraught at the possibility of loosing her daughter.

Little Fires Everywhere, based on the book by Celeste Ng, will be an upcoming limited series on Hulu.

I work a lot. Fangirlish is my baby. I work in social media professionally and I love it - which is probably why I don't keep up on my own. I don't sleep enough and I obsess too much over my favorite things. I need to work on combing my hair more. Or at elast I need to stop dying it different colors.
