The Canary Lives.
After watching Sara Lance die in Arrow‘s season three premiere, fans were elated to learn — albeit several months later — that Sara would return to life via the Lazarus Pit when it was announced Sara would be appearing on the Arrow/Flash spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as White Canary.
While the producers remained mum on the details about her resurrection, Comic-Con provided more clarity about the situation.
Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed to E!Online that fans will see Sara Lance’s resurrection on Arrow before she makes her debut on Legends.
“The White Canary will be launched in the first few episodes of Arrow,” boss Marc Guggenheim spills. “4×08, our typical crossover episode, will be doing a lot of heavy-lifting in terms of getting the Legends of Tomorrow characters set up and also seeing where they are with relation to The Flash. It’s a big episode.”
Seeing as Thea was the one who killed Sara — albeit under mind control at the hands of Malcolm Merlyn — having Sara make her return on Arrow will make for an interesting storyline as Sara struggles with the realization of her death, as well as the effects of the Lazarus Pit.
We can’t wait to see what lies in store for Sara Lance on Arrow when it returns for season four on Oct. 7, as well as her arc on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow when it debuts midseason on The CW.
