If we’re at home, it’s the day that we are getting everything together. If we’re at SDCC, it’s the day that we are running around like we lost our heads.

It’s a busy day. Let’s break it down.

If you ever wanted to know what living in Ballroom 20 and live tweeting all of The CW’s DC TV shows, just hit up Nora, because she can do it all now. Each series left their characters in precarious situations when their respective seasons ended, but hope to give fans some hope moving forward.

First up, with Supergirl, Melissa Benoist says that Kara will retreat further and further into her Supergirl identity after the loss of Mon-El. While Alex, Winn, J’onn and others will reach out, Kara is trying to process this loss on her own, in anyway that she can. Here are some other highlights: James will be getting a love interest, Winn will continue to work with Guardian, Cat Grant will appear in the premiere and recur throughout the season, Katie McGrath is looking forward to exploring Kara and Lena’s friendship, Sanvers will go on a beautiful journey, with the little time the show has with Floriana Lima, and Odette Annable is going to kick butt as Reign, we can already tell.

Onto Legends of Tomorrow. Now that they’ve screwed up time as we know it, the Legends will have to fix their mistakes. This upcoming season they will explore Sara’s bisexuality more, hopefully Ray will get some love, Nate and Amaya will continue to integrate into the team more and Mick will explore his softer, more heroic side as he realizes these people are his family.

The CW’s latest superhero series, Black Lightning, made a splash at their first SDCC by really exploring why this is such a great time to have a superhero show with an all black cast. There will be tie ins to real life race issues as the show hopes to give a superhero that not only represents black culture, but also America as a whole.

With Barry heading into the speed force, season 4 looks like it will be dominated by Iris West leading Team Flash and we couldn’t be happier. Iris West takes on a larger role as Cisco and Wally step into help Central City in Barry’s absence. Tom Cavanaugh is also excited to explore other versions of Wells as the season progresses. Meanwhile, Danielle Panabaker couldn’t give too much away about whether we’ll see Killer Frost or Caitlin Snow this season, but she’s super excited either way!

After seemingly blowing up EVERYONE, Arrow is ready to start a new journey for the series. Stephen Amell teased that Oliver will be dealing with how to be a father and he isn’t doing the best job. While the cast couldn’t say much about their fates, we can all agree that Juliana Harkavy is rocking the new Black Canary suit. Katie Cassidy is super excited to be back and take on Black Siren and Emily Bett Rickards is cheering on all the female characters and recalls how much she loves seeing the darker side to Felicity. We will also get more character specific flashbacks this season, in particular, a 2-part episode centered on Slade Wilson.

WB Panel: Ready Player One, Blade Runner 2049, & Justice League

When it comes to Comic-Con, WB is one of the panels that is bigger than you can believe and never disappoints. This year’s lineup was no exception, offering first looks at Ready Player One, Blade Runner 2049, and several upcoming DC Universe titles – primarily Aquaman and Justice League.

Ready Player One – based on the novel by Ernest Cline and directed by Steven Spielberg – is one of those book-to-movie adaptations that feels tailor-made for the SDCC crowd. The book is immersive and addicting, exploring a dystopian future where pretty much everyone spends pretty much all of their time in a virtual reality platform called the Oasis. Spielberg himself was on-hand to introduce the first trailer, which is crammed with 80s pop culture references and tons of action. Writers Cline and Zak Penn, and the entire cast (Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, and T.J. Miller) were also in attendance, discussing the future presented by Ready Player One and how excited they are to be a part of this project.

Then came Blade Runner 2049. There was some awesome footage shown, moderator Chris Hardwick threatened to tickle Harrison Ford for answers to a question, and Ryan Gosling was there… so I guess you could say it was a success.

The panel wrapped up with a jam-packed DC Universe segment, starting off with Aquaman – helloooo, Jason Momoa – before transitioning into a sizzle reel announcing the slate of upcoming titles and a session highlighting Justice League. Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) joined Momoa on stage to debut the trailer and talk heroism. I’m sure we’ll get into the trailer breakdown later, but as far as the panel, Jason Momoa is hilarious, Gal Gadot is an angel, and DC has a lot of exciting stuff on the horizon.

Riverdale Press Room

Riverdale may be a great place to get away with it all, but let’s hope it doesn’t stay that way. The hit CW show’s first season finale left many residents of the town in crisis, with Fred Andrews shot, Hiram Lodge returning, and Jughead joining the Southside Serpents. The gang was all there at the press room to talk about these shocking developments, with a lineup including KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray, Casey Cott, Hayley Law, Asha Bromfield, and the Executive Producers. They teased more B & V (though also some unexpected conflict between the two), a tense relationship between Betty and Jughead, more of Cheryl and Josie’s friendship, and much more. Stay tuned for the full interviews!

The Magicians Press Room

Magic may be gone, but we have a feeling that there are still plenty of adventures to come in Season 3 of The Magicians. We chatted with series regulars Jason Ralph (Quentin Coldwater), Stella Maeve (Julia Wicker), Olivia Taylor Dudley (Alice Quinn), Hale Appleman (Eliot Waugh), and Summer Bishil (Margo Hanson), as well as Executive Producers and co-creators Sera Gamble and John McNamara, about what to expect from the upcoming season. Highlights: Expect more tension between Quentin and Alice, the group (even Quentin and Julia) working together towards the common goal of bringing back magic, and an exciting new set in the form of the Muntjac boat. More to come – stay tuned for our full interviews!

Stranger Things Panel

There’s something strange in the neighborhood. The cast and creators of Stranger Things took Hall H by storm to debut the trailer for Stranger Things 2, coming this October. With glimpses of the Upside Down, Eleven trying to make her way back into our world, and new characters, the trailer got an overwhelming response from the audience. Speaking of new faces, Paul Reiser, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery joined the panel to tease their characters – the latest additions to the Stranger Things lineup.

The panel – which also included the Duffer Brothers, director Shawn Levy, and cast members David Harbour (Chief Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Mararazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Matthew Modine (Martin Brenner), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), and Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler) – was very conscious of avoiding spoilers, but did offer some interesting insight into the show and what’s to come. Of course, one of the highlights was the first fan question… from none other than Barb herself (Shannon Purser). Though the panel said we won’t see Barb in Season 2, we will get justice for her. We can be on-board with that.

Arrow Press Room

While Arrow‘s fifth season might’ve gone out with a literal bang that left the fates of every character not named Oliver Queen (or William) up in the air, that didn’t stop us from prodding for clues as to what happens after everyone inevitably (hopefully?) survives. We spoke with cast members Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Juliana Harkavy, Echo Kellum, and executive producer Marc Guggenheim. Among the teases we could yank out of the cast (it was hard, guys) about season 6 included Oliver struggling as a father, Oliver and Felicity being in a great place (if Felicity survived), the tease of one of Diggle’s parents coming into the picture, Dinah’s new pursuit of justice, and Black Siren’t interesting dynamic with Quentin.

Supergirl Press Room

Supergirl might’ve shattered our hearts into a million pieces in last season’s finale, but it doesn’t change how much we love this show or how much we’re looking forward to it doing, most likely, the exact same thing this season. We spoke with cast members Melissa Benoist, Chris Wood, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Katie McGrath, Odette Annable, and executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner about season 3. We learned that there will be a couple month time jump following the events of season 2 where we’ll find Kara throwing herself into being Supergirl to try to avoid the pain the loss of Mon-El has left on her being. Among the highlights included Melissa and Chris talking about their love of Karamel, Katie raving about the importance of female friendships on TV and how Kara and Lena bring that to life, as well as teases about what’s sounding like an epic story for new big bad Reign.

The Flash Press Room

While Barry Allen might be trapped in the Speed Force, we’re still not over that emotional season finale of The Flash that was a game-changer in how it now forces Team Flash, minus Barry, to step up to the plate in his absence. We spoke with cast members Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Keiynan Lonsdale, Jesse L. Martin, and Tom Cavanagh about what we can expect when season 4 picks up six months in the future. Among the teases we got included we can expect to see a different kind of Barry as the Speed Force has taken a toll on him, Iris stepping up into a leadership role on Team Flash in Barry’s absence, more Caitlin/Killer Frost balance, and Wally stepping up in Barry’s absence.

Legends of Tomorrow Press Room

While the Legends of Tomorrow gang might’ve broken time, that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to do what they do best: trying to fix things with the likelihood of only making things worse. We spoke with cast members Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe about what can we can expect from the new season. Among the teases included the Legends new conflict with the Time Bureau, who will serve as a unique obstacle for the group. We also got teases about Sara’s stepping into her leadership role, Ray going back to his inventor roots, Stein and Jax switching roles, and the newest member Zari.

Black Lightning Press Room

While the CW’s latest superhero doesn’t arrive until midseason, there is a ton of excitement surrounding Black Lightning, which brings to life network television’s first black superhero. And a retired one at that! We spoke with cast members Cress Williams, Christine Adams, Nafessa Williams, and executive producers Mara Brock Akil & Salim Akil. They talked about the importance of a superhero show that not only headlines network television’s first black superhero but also a show that has a strong family dynamic and is grounded in reality as it explores very real evils in the streets of Atlanta.

Krypton Press Room

We talked to the cast about the setup of this new show, which will not premiere till 2018 and how it’s meant to follow Superman’s grandfather, yes, but will also feature a time-travel element and will start with a group of villains going back in time to, you guessed it, stop Superman from being born.

Lucifer Press Room

The cast of Lucifer had a devilish time at the press room tables yesterday, and suffice it to say it was thrilling to get to meet the Devil himself. Along with the lovely people who bring Linda, Dan, Aimee and Charlotte to life plus showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich. My time with them was filled with the cast and producers enthusiasm for the upcoming season and my excitement only grew as they teased what was coming up for these characters. Identity is the name of the game for our theme of season three and Lucifer is going to be facing down some struggles with his wings showing up at the end of last season. To top it off new cast member Tom Welling will be playing a handsome Lieutenant who is the opposite of Lucifer, but no less charismatic, handsome and interested in Chloe. The rest of the cast will be embroiled in their own adventures, ranging from Charlotte’s post Mom mystery, Linda coping with her near death experience and a literal Vegas road trip with Ella and Lucifer! Suffice it to say, we are in for another fantastic season and I can’t wait for October 2nd to get here.

The Gifted Press Room

We talked to the cast about the new show, what we can expect to see, how this ties into the X-Men universe, what their favorite X-Men are and how this show will incorporate both a real family and the mutants they meet along the way into a sort of family of their own.

Wynonna Earp Press Room

The Wynonna Earp room was weird, loud, and full of enough moments to give you the feels. This is the show who no one thought would succeed but that we’ve watched blossom into something extraordinary. The cast shared information about how their characters have changed, what obstacles they’re facing, and how proud they are to be part of the #Earper family. They know they wouldn’t be here without this family and they want every fan to know how much they appreciate the support and love thrown their way.

I work a lot. Fangirlish is my baby. I work in social media professionally and I love it - which is probably why I don't keep up on my own. I don't sleep enough and I obsess too much over my favorite things. I need to work on combing my hair more. Or at elast I need to stop dying it different colors.
