Life after college can be hard and this spring we’ll learn how to Get A Job after we graduate. “I’m 22 and Have No Idea What I’m Going To Do With The Rest Of My Life”

It’s okay to not have it all figured out! Seriously, their’s a lot of pressure to have it all together after college. But here’s a secret, most people are just as lost as you! Seriously it’s okay to be okay with not having it all together.

Life Is An Adventure

Life doesn’t always go the way that you think it will, that’s what makes it so interesting! Even when it seems like everything is going wrong, there is going to be one right, eventually. I mean seriously how bad could it be moving in with all of your friends??

Step Up

Take initiative. Your life isn’t going to change if you don’t try to change it yourself. It’s all up to you. If Jillian didn’t decide that she was going to go looking for a job instead of sitting playing video games all day she wouldn’t be going anywhere. Sometimes it even takes the nudge of a friend (Loyd) to get you going in the right direction.

Getting a Job Is Hard

Seriously, getting a job can feel like a road to nowhere. It’s frustrating, hard and sometimes even disappointing. Something as simple as a photo on Facebook can make or break your chances of getting hired. But don’t let that discourage you! Somewhere along the line you’re going to find your dream job!

Your Social Media Is Your Public Image

Speaking of Facebook posts, the first thing most employers look at when considering you for your job is your Facebook page. Sorry to say it but posting that photo from the party last night MIGHT not be the best idea. Loyd learns this lesson the hard way when an employer pulls out a picture straight from his Facebook albums.

There’s always a backup plan

No matter what happens there will be a plan B. Even if you loose your job and are drowning in student loans there will always be a way out. Trust me, things might seem really horrible right now but they will get better eventually!tumblr_o1xz6yfuZR1qdiaboo10_250
