‘Stop and Fangirl’ Episode 36: Harry Potter Revisited

Harry Potter Revisited

Here at Fangirlish we continue to support your right to fangirl over any fandom you desire – whether that is a book, a TV show, a movie, or even sports. That’s why we have  Stop and Fangirl!  So you can feel  happy – and confident, loving whatever it is you love.

In this episode we revisit Harry Potter, discuss some of the bad-ass female characters the book gave us and how they were somewhat lost in the translation to the screen (well, except for Hermione Granger), as well as go into how the lessons the books taught us are applicable in the current political climate we live in.

We also play a game of trivia, because what’s a Harry Potter episode without trying to prove who knows more and somehow avoid going into Lyra’s strange obsession with Snape or Lizzie’s thing for Professor Lupin.

So, without further ado…stop and fangirl with us! And when you’re done, come and tell us who your favorite character in Harry Potter is, and why!
