Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Posey, & Co. Bring the Feels at ‘Teen Wolf’s Last SDCC Panel

Last year’s Teen Wolf panel at San Diego Comic-Con was a bittersweet affair. While fans were excited to get a first look at the Ghost Riders and have their questions answered by Beacon Hills’ best, we also learned that the hit MTV show would be ending after Season 6. That also meant that we – and the cast – thought last year was the end of the road for Teen Wolf at SDCC.

Thankfully, we had another chance to say goodbye when the Teen Wolf pack reunited for one last panel on Thursday – this time in Hall H, the biggest venue SDCC has to offer. MTV made it an affair to remember with a lineup including Tyler Posey, Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry, Cody Christian, Khylin Rhambo, and Executive Producer Jeff Davis… not to mention a few surprise guests. Dylan O’Brien, Charlie Carver, and special guest moderators Linden Ashby and Melissa Ponzio rounded out the very full, very awesome panel.

Thanks to the departure from a traditional moderator, the panel felt just like a conversation between the cast members, who were all interviewing each other. It was an intimate, emotional reflection on 100 episodes of Teen Wolf and what the show has meant to each of them more so than a source of news about the final ten episodes still to come – but that’s what our interviews are for (hint, hint).

While the absence of Holland Roden (who was unable to attend due to filming for another project) was certainly felt, fans couldn’t have asked for a better sendoff than Dylan O’Brien return for this panel. There was no shortage of O’Brosey moments, from O’Brien and Posey reflecting on their friendship over the course of Teen Wolf to Dylan comforting Tyler when he teared up during a montage of the cast’s audition tapes for the show. There were also gems like these:

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Comic-Con panel without some exclusive clips. MTV did not disappoint in this department. The panel kicked off with a clip teasing Derek Hale’s return to Beacon Hills, introduced by a video message from Tyler Hoechlin and Ian Bohen. Let’s just say there were a lot of bullets, a lot of bodies, and a very fancy car involved. We also got the first look at the newest trailer for Season 6B, which was very exciting. Check it out below:

Teen Wolf returns to MTV for its final ten episodes on Sunday, July 30 at 8/7c.
