The holiday season is officially here, which means that it’s time to start decking the halls (no mountain ash, please, and careful with that mistletoe) and thinking about the perfect gifts for your friends and family. If there’s a special Teen Wolf fan in your life, you’re in luck: we’ve scoured the internet for the best gift ideas for your wannabe werewolf (or banshee, hunter, etc.) Whether they’re new to the series or seem to already own every piece of merchandise known to man and wolf, every Teen Wolf fan will find something to love on our list:
Teen Wolf Swag Pack
Traditional swag like buttons and jewelry makes for great stocking stuffers and is always a big hit with fans. These buttons will add a little Beacon Hills flair to a bag or jacket, while the Sour Wolf necklace is sure to be a conversation starter. This swag pack is available from TheGeekStudio on Etsy for $22.59. The shop also offers a ton of different button sets with designs featuring quotes from the show (the “Someone needs to sex me right now!” one is a personal favorite).
Have you ever wanted to taste Derek Hale, Stiles Stilinski, Scott McCall, Lydia Martin, or one of the other beautiful residents of Beacon Hills? Now you can–sort of. Adagio has garnered a lot of attention in the Tumblr-sphere for allowing users to create their own tea blends, resulting in a ton of yummy fandom-themed tea offerings. Naturally, there are plenty of Teen Wolf tea blends to choose from. Daunt (a.k.a. Meg) was featured on Wolf Watch last season as Alpha of the Week for her Teen Wolf teas. We’re dying to try Coach Cupcake (candy apple, cream, and rooibos vanilla chai with sprinkles, chocolate chips, and lemon balm) and Moonday Heartache (chamomile, foxtrot, and berry blues with lemon balm and lavender)… along with just about every other blend she’s created. Adagio offers each bag of tea for about $10-20 (depending on how much you want to order), and you can score $5 off today only with code 9101337274.
Hint: Look around Adagio for extra discounts, such as 10% off two “shipped” teas when you buy both!
Beacon Hills Lacrosse Hoodie
What better way to show your support for your favorite member of the Beacon Hills lacrosse team than with a team hoodie? RustyPolished offers hoodies and t-shirts for just about every Teen Wolf character (even a Greenberg one with ?? instead of numbers). These are perfect for cosplay, wearing to conventions, or just staying cozy while subtly representing the show. You can even order one a little big and pretend you swiped it from your Teen Wolf boy/girlfriend of choice. Just be prepared to answer questions about just where Beacon Hills is located if you wear it around town (it’s happened). You can pick up a Beacon Hills lacrosse hoodie for about $45 (t-shirts are about $20).
Looking for a subtle way to show your Teen Wolf love and a gift that gives back? You’ll definitely want to check out Serengetee‘s “Posey’s Paradise” line. Tyler Posey collaborated with Serengetee, a website dedicated to raising money for causes through colorful designs on shirts and other apparel, to create two designs in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). “Posey’s Paradise” (pictured) features red and blue macaws on a tropical background, while “Posey’s Paradise 2.0” depicts sea turtles and fish. You can select from a ton of products–clothing, bags, hats, bracelets, even pillows–customized with either fabric, and 5% of each purchase is given back to the LLS.
Style Your Phone
Cure your Teen Wolf outfit envy by dressing your phone in styles from the show. Marstiles on Society6 has created phone cases inspired by some popular Teen Wolf outfits worn by Lydia, Allison, and even Cousin Miguel. Even if you can’t track down these elusive (and often pricey) outfits for yourself, you can rest easy knowing that your phone is properly attired. You can also snag these cute designs on tote bags and other items from Society6. The phone cases are available for $35.
Steal Stiles’ Style
While you may not be able to bring home Lydia’s unicorn sweater or Allison’s plaid jacket for the holidays, there are a few Teen Wolf apparel items still readily available for your favorite fan. Stiles’ Alternative Apparel purple hoodie (pictured – worn in “I.E.D.”) and marathon pullover hoodie (worn in “The Benefactor”) are reasonably priced, super comfy, and perfect gifts. And if you ordered one a little big and pretended you were wearing Stiles’, who could blame you? You can also find Stiles’ “Drink Coffee. Do Good.” shirt (worn in “Lunatic”) here for $20.
Get Your Con On
If you really want to make a Teen Wolf fan’s day (or year), give them the opportunity to mingle with their favorite stars at an upcoming convention. Creation Entertainment has three Days of the Wolf cons scheduled for 2015 (in Burbank, Chicago, and Whippany, NJ), all featuring the hilarious Orny Adams (the infamous Coach) as master of ceremonies. Bitecon is returning to Los Angeles in April, Howlercon will be back in New Jersey in November, and there are a bunch of other awesome Teen Wolf conventions on the horizon. Tickets, autographs, photo ops, meet and greets, or even plane fare (or gift cards to those ends) would make excellent holiday gifts for your favorite Teen Wolf fan.
Teen Wolf DVDs
Finally, what gift guide would be complete without binge-watching material? If your Teen Wolf giftee doesn’t already have their own DVDs, now is the time to rectify the gap in their collection. Seasons 1-3 are available now (Season 4 is on the way!), with enough episodes, commentary, and bonus features to keep any fan entertained well into the new year. You may also want to have these on-hand for a special something we’re launching next week… But more on that later.
That’s a wrap on our 2014 Teen Wolf holiday gift guide! Which of these items will you be gifting (or adding to your wish list)? Any other awesome Teen Wolf items to add? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
One last word of advice: don’t do this to your Christmas tree.
