‘The 100’ SDCC 2017 Interviews: Marie Avgeropoulos

Marie Avgeropoulos

When you’re trust into a leadership position, things change. That’s one of the biggest things The 100’s Marie Avgeropoulos teased when we talked to her at San Diego Comic-Con.

Not just personally, either. Your relationships change as well.

Take Octavia and Clarke, for example, who Marie teased have rarely seen eye to eye, since “Clarke has always been the one who’s had to make the hard decisions and now the roles are sort of reversed.”

Does that mean a new understanding between the two is in the cards? Especially since, as Marie put it, Octavia is now the “leader” and Clarke is the “grounder.”

We can’t wait to see it.

The actress also teased Octavia in the bunker and what it means for her to be there “with a mixed bag of clans that aren’t necessarily letting go of old animosities,” which, of course, means Octavia, as the leader, has to find a way to keep the peace and even to punish those who deserve it.

“You can’t float people in a bunker,” she sentenced. So what does Octavia do? The actress seemed really excited for us to get this answer, which in turn, makes us even more excited.

Do we really have to wait till 2018 for Season 5?

Check our our full interview with Marie – who came into the press room on piggy back because, trust us, the heels she was wearing were almost impossible to walk on – and then share your thoughts in the comments below!

The 100 returns to The CW in 2018.
