The CW has heard us all and finally renewed shows that are not DC shows. Look, not trying to be shady, but I mean sometimes I feel like the only thing that they care about are DC shows.
For the first time in years, The CW hasn’t cancelled any of it’s freshman shows and has renewed all 5 of the dramas.
You all know that what we care about is All American and Roswell, New Mexico (especially after that season finale). All American, In the Dark, Roswell and the established show The 100 have all been renewed.
The other two freshman shows, Charmed and Legacies were renewed in January.
This means that The CW’s entire slate – besides the series finales that we knew were coming, Jane The Virgin, iZombie, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – is returning from 2019 – 2020.
“As we begin to plan for the 2019-20 season, we’re thrilled to have this roster of 14 exceptionally creative and distinctive series, including all five first-year shows, as the foundation on which to continue to build the multiplatform future of The CW,” CW’s Mark Pedowitz said. “One of our key long-term goals has been to continually add more original programming all year round, especially in midseason and summer, and with these returning shows and the new series we’ll order as we get closer to the May upfront, next season on The CW is shaping up to be our most robust year-round schedule yet.”
For once – I don’t have to curse out a network. If anyone fucked with Roswell, New Mexico – I was about to throw down.
