‘The Kissing Booth’ Gets Release Date on Netflix

The young adult novel, The Kissing Booth, by Beth Reekles was one of the earliest hits of the Wattpad platform. The book skyrocketed on the site, and led Reekles to a contract with Random House. The story added humor, betrayal and bad boy lust all into one.

So, it really isn’t a surprise that the story was picked up by Netflix and adapted for the screen.

Reekles has kept us up to date with the progress of the film, and on April 14 she revealed that the film will hit our screens on Netflix on May 11.

Less than 1 month until we see Rochelle ‘Elle’ and Noah come to life right before our eyes.

For those who may not be familiar with their story, here is a little info:

A cool, sexy YA romance novel from seventeen-year-old Wattpad sensation Beth Reekles.
Meet Rochelle Evans: pretty, popular – and never been kissed.
Meet Noah Flynn: badass, volatile – and a total player.
When Elle decides to run a kissing booth at the school’s Spring Carnival, she locks lips with Noah and her life is turned upside down. Her head says to keep away, but her heart wants to draw closer – this romance seems far from fairy tale and headed for heartbreak. But will Elle get her happily ever after?

We cant wait to see it transcend into the Netflix family, and want to congratulate Beth on an amazing book and all her success!
