The new Doctor Who mini-series is taking us back to “class”

There’s going to be a new Doctor Who spin-off written by Patrick Ness coming to our screens in 2016.

“Class”, a new 8 part mini-series aimed at teenagers will be premiering next year. The series  is said to be based around a strange “Darkness” that has been taking over the famed Coal Hill school in modern-day London. You guys might recognize the name because its where Clara works!

It is also where we met Courtney Woods, the curious, showy teenager who got herself a trip in the famed TARDIS.

Admit it we all wanted to be Courtney.

The show is said to feature many new characters and villains. Steven Moffat recently explained the show: “Incredible dangers are breaking through the walls of time and space, and with darkness coming, London is unprotected.”

But wheres the Doctor when you need him?

The series will start filming in Cardiff (like most Doctor Who programs) soon, so stay tuned for any new news!

I don’t know about you but I’m excited to go to “Class”.
