The trailer for Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is undeniably epic, featuring sweeping, dystopian deserts, mystery, and our favorite Gladers. But who would have thought that we’d see it get the Minecraft treatment? In this new video, the Scorch Trials trailer is converted into the pixelated style of the popular video game–and it’s still totally awesome.
The vast, instantly recognizable landscape of the Scorch translates so well into a Minecraft world, and it’s entertaining to hear the voices of Dylan O’Brien, Aidan Gillen, and the other cast members coming out of the blocky characters. We just have one question–can we actually play The Scorch Trials, Minecraft-style?
