“The Shannara Chronicles” Mid-Season Trailer

Are you hooked on The Shannara Chronicles yet? Binge-watch to catch up with all the action you’ve missed so far because the mid-season trailer is EPIC! Teasing fans with more romance, betrayal and fights between the remaining species — this show just keeps delving into the best of Terry Brooks’ storylines and delivering them in a way that’s sure to please fans.

Also, we are gearing up for a reading of the books this show is based on. Who wants to join us as we revisit/visit the inspiration for our new favorite show? Seriously, I cannot be the only one curious if the books stack up against the show and to work out which parts of the book I miss that the show left out and which parts in the show really do the spirit of the books a favor. We’ll start with the The Elfstones of Shannara, if you need time to get the book.

[lead]EPISODES TO DATE:[/lead]

 • Chosen Part 1 & 2 (Two-episode pilot)
 • Fury (episode 3)
 • Changeling (episode 4)
 • Reaper (episode 5)

Pykon — episode 6, which leaves only four more episodes to air before the season ends. Please… please… I am begging everyone to watch so that we can convince the powers to be at MTV to continue the show into more seasons.

Darkness is coming. Set thousands of years after the destruction of our civilization, The Shannara Chronicles follows an Elven Princess, Amberle, a half-human half-elf, Wil, and a human, Eretria, as they embark on a quest to stop a Demon army from destroying the Four Lands. It is a new MTV series based on the best-selling fantasy novels by Terry Brooks. The show stars Poppy Drayton, Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennett and John Rhys-Davies, and is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Al Gough, Miles Millar, Dan Farah, Jonathan Liebesman and author Terry Brooks.
