Ever since The Shannara Chronicles announced their move to Spike TV we’ve been a little nervous. We didn’t want to loose the characters we loved or the way they were presented to us in their first season. Then the season two trailer for The Shannara Chronicles happened.
Season 2 is set one year after the events of season one. The Four Lands are in chaos, everyone’s scared, and an organization called The Crimson is hunting down magic users left and right. Wil doesn’t want to save the world anymore, Eretria looks to be on the forefront of the upcoming war, and Bandon is gearing up to being a big problem for the good guys.
What’s really surprising is that the trailer featured Amberle for just a second. We were sure that she was gone forever and it’s exciting to know that a part of her might still be present!
According to Deadline the returning cast of Wil (Austin Butler), Eretria (Ivana Baquero), and Allanon (Manu Bennett), will be joined by Lyria (Vanessa Morgan), Mareth (Malese Jow), and Garet (Gentry White). Lyria will play a mysterious young woman with romantic ties to Eretria. Mareth will be a volatile woman with magical abilities. And Garet will be a bounty hunter known throughout The Four Lands.
