‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Returning to San Diego Comic Con 2017

The Walking Dead and it’s spin-off Fear the Walking Dead are set to return to San Diego Comic Con this year! It really isn’t much of a surprise because The Walking Dead has been a staple of the con for years and the new badges for 2017 feature Rick Grimes, the star of the show. But it’s always nice to know for sure.

Confirmation that both shows would be attending came from The Talking Dead, Christ Hardwick’s late night after show for The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. They tweeted out, asking for questions for both shows, to be asked at the SDCC panels this year.

There’s no word yet in what order the panels will be held, what date, or who will be attending. (Not Glenn!) What we’ve seen in the past is the Fear the Walking Dead panel happening first, with The Walking Dead following after. It’s expected to be held in Hall H.

AMC hasn’t commented yet on what other shows they’re likely to bring to SDCC. We’re hoping that Preacher makes a return and that we learn more about AMC’s new show The Terror. Like other networks before it, it looks like AMC is trying to get into the anthology style for it’s new series.
