This Week in #TeenWolf: Teases, Exciting Events, Parking with Parrish, & One Killer Party

Hello, Teen Wolf fans! Though there wasn’t too much going on in the Beacon Hills world last week, there’s plenty to talk about this week–and we’re back with all the Teen Wolf-related news you may have missed! With just 45 days left until the premiere of Season 5 (commence freakout), things are really ramping up!

Production Update

So what’s going on with Season 5? While we wait for posters, clips, and all that good stuff, here are some intriguing teasers and fun snaps from around the social media-sphere. Basically, the cast and crew are all teases and Ryan Kelley continues to be flawless.

It also seems that filming for the After After Show is underway! That or Morgan Evans kept getting mistaken for a werewolf, because Tyler Posey took it upon himself to wax the host’s legs.

Not much news this week, but you have to admit, the Teen Wolf cast knows how to entertain.

Meet One of Beacon Hills’ Newest Residents

Nicholas Maggio

By: Nicholas Maggio

There’s no shortage of new characters headed to Teen Wolf this season, but thus far, most of them have remained shrouded in mystery. Thanks to Out, now we know a little bit more about newcomer Michael Johnston’s role. Johnston, who had a small role in the upcoming season of Awkward, will be playing a character “introduced alongside an unspecified new supernatural threat to the show’s main characters.” While we’re not sure just how he’ll factor into (or come up against) the pack, Johnston’s character will cross paths with Mason (Khylin Rhambo). “There’s some hope that we’ll start out as friends, but maybe more will happen,” he teases. “When I see relationships on Teen Wolf, they’re all treated the same. They don’t make a big deal over a gay relationship in the show–it’s just like any other relationship, which is really close to what life is like.” We look forward to finding out more about Johnston’s character–and his potential relationship with Mason, whom we adore–in Season 5!

‘Teen Wolf’ Stars Kill It in Bloody Awesome Promo

Get More: Scream, Full Episodes

A couple of our Teen Wolf favorites–Tyler Posey and Holland Roden, to be precise–attend a killer party in this bloody new promo for MTV’s Scream, which debuts on June 30 (right after the second half of Teen Wolf‘s 2-night premiere!) Check out the video above and see if you can spot your favorite MTV stars… though be warned, it gets pretty gory!

Want to Visit Beacon Hills?

Holland Roden is helping to support her friends’ Kickstarter by giving YOU the chance to visit Beacon Hills. Help Meet the Patels get to theaters and hang out on set! Though the perk price tag is steep, this certainly seems like the experience of a lifetime (and the film sounds hilarious, too!) Check out the campaign here.

Appearances and Advice

While we wait for more news about Season 5, let’s check out some exciting appearances and fun advice from some of our Teen Wolf faves!

Season 4 assassin Mason Dye may not have survived Beacon Hills, but he’s found new life on Finding Carter. Dye’s character, Damon–“a born-and-bred academic who, like Taylor, has his sights set on the Ivy Leagues,” according to MTV–made his debut on this week’s episode. Check out a clip below!

IRL, Tyler Hoechlin supported girlfriend Brittany Snow on the carpet at the Pitch Perfect 2 premiere. How cute is this picture and heartfelt message he shared on Instagram?

Like Tyler, we can’t wait for the world to see Pitch Perfect 2 (spoiler alert, it’s aca-amazing!)

Want a chance to hang out with the lovely Arden Cho? The Teen Wolf star and singer is hosting a concert and special VIP event in Hawaii on May 30!

Arden also shared her advice for embracing imperfections with the I Am_ Campaign, which “features stories from Asian Americans who are making a mark in industries such as entertainment, social media, and food.” Here’s what Arden had to say: “Don’t be afraid to fail, because failure adds character and color and it’s those imperfections, flaws, and mistakes that you make along the way that add to a great story.” Talk about words to live by!

Convention Update

Who could resist the chance to mingle with their favorite Teen Wolf stars? Not us, certainly. Treat yourself to the trip of a lifetime–a Teen Wolf convention! Next up is Creation Entertainment’s Days of the Wolf Chicago, coming in June. All tickets and ops are available, so make sure to snag those here.

Howlercon has announced the date of their general sale, when those who missed out on their Indiegogo will be able to purchase admission tickets, solo photo ops, meet and greets, autographs, and photo op packages. Mark your calendars–this is happening June 1! The exact time will be announced about a week prior to the sale, and we’ll be sure to let you know what that is so you don’t miss out on that Daniel Sharman meet and greet (or anything else your heart desires).

Heading further south, BeaCON Chills is gearing up to make some big announcements for their October convention. They took to Twitter to tease their theme (which, can we say, looks simply magical!)

Finally, though we don’t yet know where he’ll be appearing, Cody Saintgnue (Brett) has teased that he’ll be making his debut convention appearance soon! Which con do you think he’ll be attending?

Teen Wolf Moms - Melissa

In case you missed it, be sure to check out our Teen Wolf Mother’s Day feature (which is paired with a great Jane the Virgin post!) Though the holiday may have passed, it’s never too late to appreciate our favorite Beacon Hills moms.

That’s a wrap for this week’s Teen Wolf news! We’ll be back next week with some fun features and the next batch of exciting Beacon Hills updates.
