Happy Friday, Teen Wolf fans! We’re another week closer to January and the return of Teen Wolf, which is occasion enough to celebrate. Here’s your weekly recap of all the Teen Wolf news you may have missed:
Speaking of Teen Wolf‘s January return, while we’ve been living in denial about the hiatus, the cast and crew have been doing what they do best: making more episodes! Last week we learned that JR Bourne (Argent) has returned to set, which made our fangirl hearts very happy. While we don’t have much news to share about 5B filming this week, we do have some great on-set snaps thanks to a few of the stars.
Most of the BTS shots this week are courtesy of Jordan Fisher, who appeared in the 5A finale as Noah, the blood-drinking chimera that attacked Malia. While we can’t condone coming at our werecoyote bby like that, Jordan has become our new favorite thanks to these awesome pictures, which feature Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Shelley Hennig, and Dread Doctors Douglas Tait and Caitlin Dechelle.

We also got another great snap from Douglas Tait, who was apparently shooting a scene with Dylan O’Brien. Though this makes us very nervous for Stiles, for now we’ll just enjoy the adorableness of this picture.

Posey Promises He’ll Never Leave Us
This is the only news we really needed to hear this week, right? Rumors started circulating that the titular teen wolf of Teen Wolf, Tyler Posey, may leave the show after Season 6. Thankfully, this is not the case. So why the drama? Executive Producer Jeff Davis was asked in a recent interview what the future of the show might be if it is renewed past its current order for Season 6. He responded:
Beyond season six, I’d love for someone else to take over the show. If it still has life, if there’s still stories to tell, that would be great — [to] see maybe Dylan Sprayberry take over the role of the Teen Wolf and see Tyler Posey move into more of a Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) role. That would be the Degrassi High version.
Though Davis was referring to potentially turning over the reigns for his own role as executive producer, fans who saw the quote out of context began to worry that our True Alpha Tyler Posey would be leaving Beacon Hills if the show is renewed for a seventh season. The star quickly took to Twitter to put our minds at ease:
Teen wolf is my baby and I would never leave

All we have to say is that we’re with Tyler Posey (and Scott McCall) until the end of the line.
Cody Christian Uses Theo's Evil for Good
Cody Christian is the latest Teen Wolf star to create a limited edition t-shirt on Represent. His design uses Theo's evil for good, as the t-shirt's proceeds will go toward fighting breast cancer. This is definitely another reminder that though Theo = villain, Cody Christian = amazing human being.
